As an API Developer, you’ll design, build, and run secure, scalable APIs that power client’s digital products and internal platforms. Working in a cross-functional engineering team, you’ll contribute to delivering reliable, modern, cloud-native services built on Java and event-driven architecture principles.

- Hands-on experience building APIs and backend services in Java.
- Solid experience with Spring Boot and build tools (e.g., Maven).
- Strong understanding of backend architecture (data access, caching, resilience, service design).
- Excellent knowledge of API design standards (REST, GraphQL, SOAP).
- Familiarity with API testing and documentation tools (Postman, Swagger UI, OpenAPI, SoapUI).
- Experience with data formats such as JSON, XML, XAML.
- Ability to diagnose and resolve issues, improve performance, and enhance reliability.
- Great communication and collaboration skills — working effectively across teams.
- Experience with event-driven architecture at scale (Kafka Streams, schema registry, idempotency).
- Exposure to AWS cloud infrastructure (EKS, Fargate, RDS, Route 53, etc.).
- Familiarity with CI/CD, observability tools (metrics/logging/tracing).
- Strong analytical thinking and a pragmatic, delivery-oriented mindset.
