Associate Manager, Health & Government Transformation

Posted Updated
Discussion

The Associate Manager sits within Sia's Health and Government practice, leading and contributing to consulting engagements that combine traditional management consulting methodology with Sia's proprietary AI-enabled delivery capability. The role requires the ability to move between strategic advisory work for executive and government stakeholders, and the technical build-out of bespoke digital tooling that underpins how Sia delivers that advice.

Key duties and responsibilities

  • Lead and structure workstreams across strategy refresh, operating model design, governance advisory, and proposal development for health and government clients.
  • Build client-facing deliverables including proposal decks, budget and staffing models, and executive-level reporting, drawing on direct experience with WA health and government stakeholder environments.
  • Design and facilitate stakeholder engagement processes, including large-group workshops and executive off-sites, translating ambiguous problems into structured advisory outputs.
  • Develop and maintain a suite of custom AI-enabled delivery tools (research automation, financial analysis, proposal generation, meeting synthesis) used across the practice to accelerate engagement delivery and quality.
  • Mine and apply the firm's internal knowledge base to strengthen proposal credibility and track record positioning for new business.
  • Act as a bridge between consulting delivery teams and the firm's emerging AI tooling capability.

    • MSc in Information Systems for Business Performance (or equivalent), with prior degree-level study in a relevant discipline.
    • Demonstrated experience in management consulting, spanning both traditional strategy/operating model advisory or hands-on delivery in a boutique consulting environment.
    • Process and delivery certifications: Six Sigma Yellow Belt, Certified Scrum Product Owner, Certified Scrum Master.
    • Direct experience with Western Australian health sector and government stakeholder engagement, including state-level departments and regional health/research institutions.
    • Practical ability to build and deploy AI-assisted delivery tooling for a professional services context, not just use it as an end consumer.
