Compensation: ₹4L – ₹6L • No equity

We are hiring an Associate Product Manager to assist the Product Manager across our live products, with the aim of taking on more ownership over time. The role covers subject research, guidance to developers and Jira.

About the role You will help decide what gets built, why, and whether the result is right, working with the Product Manager; developers decide how to build it.

Details: Title: Associate Product Manager Team: Product Team, Analystt AI Technology Pvt Ltd Reports to: Product Manager Location: Mumbai Experience: 1–3 years in product management or business analysis Works with: SDE, QA, domain experts, leadership

What you will do

You will assist the Product Manager in five areas: subject research, developer guidance, Jira, quality and reporting.

Subject research and developer guidance

  • Build and keep a working understanding of the domain each product serves, including the relevant regulations and data sources.
  • Turn that knowledge into requirements developers can build from: checklists, examples, expected outputs and acceptance criteria.
  • Check that what the products produce is correct, using known-good test cases.
  • Run review sessions with domain experts and record every outcome as a ticket.

Product ownership

  • Help shape the roadmap and priorities across the products, and the trade-offs between them.
  • Write user stories with clear scope, run user acceptance testing, support release signoff and publish release notes.

Jira ownership

  • Help keep the structure clean: epics, stories, tasks and sub-tasks, with an owner, priority and due date on every ticket.
  • Help keep epic status in line with its child tickets, close or re-plan stale items, and groom the backlog regularly.
  • Help triage bugs by severity, label releases, and keep the dashboards the team and leadership use.

Delivery and quality

  • Work with QA to test releases before they go live, and track bug trends.
  • Coordinate release timing with developers and infrastructure teams.

Reporting and stakeholders

  • Help prepare regular performance reviews from Jira and analytics data: results, risks, learnings and next steps.
  • Collect leadership and user requests in one backlog and tell requesters what happened to them.
  • Track product adoption with analytics tools and flag gaps in tracking.

What we are looking for We hire for curiosity, accuracy and how quickly you learn. You need a working understanding of the areas below, not expert knowledge of all of them.

Must have

  • Relevant experience in product management, business analysis or a similar role.
  • A working understanding of Jira: tickets, epics, boards and reports.
  • Clear written requirements and acceptance criteria that a developer can build and QA can test.
  • Enough understanding of how software is built and shipped to follow developers and ask good questions.
  • Ability to read dense documents such as regulations and filings and pick out what matters.
  • Care with numbers: checks figures and sources before reporting them.
  • Clear communication, including presenting results to leadership.

Nice to have

  • Background in finance, commerce, law or a related field.
  • Exposure to capital markets, regulation or financial services.
  • Experience testing or evaluating AI features.
  • Familiarity with product analytics tools and spreadsheets.
  • Experience with B2B software or data products.
