Backend Engineer (Java & LLM Integrations)

Currently, we are searching for a full-time Engineer to cooperate with our UK client - BioPharma organization. The mission is to unlock the potential of AI/ML to improve the lives of patients. Our client delivers powerful cloud software and services specifically designed to meet the evolving needs of the BioPharma sector.
⚠️ Due to the client's location, sometimes the team works until 6:00 PM CEST.
Meetings scheduled after 5 PM CEST are usually planned in advance.
- At least 5 years of Java practice
- Strong experience with Java 17+ and the Spring Boot framework
- Deep understanding of Model Context Protocol (MCP), LLM integrations, and AI Agents
- Solid background in REST API design, integration patterns, and caching strategies
- Hands-on experience with application security, including JWT and OAuth protocols
- Knowledge of integrating external platform APIs (such as IDBS) is a strong plus
