Backend Software Engineering Intern

Summary
Backend Software Engineering Intern at AiDash in Palo Alto building satellite and AI-powered grid monitoring systems. Design, build, and test backend services and APIs in Java or Python, own scoped projects end-to-end, and work with large-scale data pipelines processing satellite and sensor data.
- Our satellite and AI-powered products are changing how utilities see and protect the grid, and we’re gearing up for aggressive customer growth over the next two years. We’re hiring two Backend Software Engineering Interns in Palo Alto to help build the backend systems behind that growth
- This is a real engineering internship, not a sandbox project. You’ll own scoped backend work that ships to production, with day-to-day mentorship from a senior engineer who will review your code, pair with you on design, and help you grow fast. Strong performers will be considered for a full-time return offer
- Our pending acquisition by Schneider Electric will accelerate our mission as we bring our combined offering to our joint customer base, and the work you do will reach customers at an even greater scale
