Batch Specialist

We are looking for a Batch Scheduling Specialist to join the global infrastructure team responsible for supporting and developing enterprise‑grade scheduling and automation solutions.
In this position, you’ll ensure the stability, integrity, and efficiency of scheduling systems across multiple critical environments, providing incident and change management support, continuous service improvement, and delivery of automation initiatives.
The role offers the opportunity to work with IBM z/OS systems and scheduling tools within a dynamic operations and engineering landscape.

- Strong knowledge of JCL (Job Control Language) for IBM z/OS on Mainframe.
- Hands‑on experience with IWS – IBM Workload Scheduler.
- Basic familiarity with Horizont IWS Graph, BatchCP, BatchAD and XINFO.
- Experience in Incident and Change Management processes.
- Understanding of SLAs and service stability requirements.
- Very good command of English (written and spoken).
- Strong communication and collaboration skills.
- Analytical and solution‑focused approach to problem solving.
- Experience working with collaboration and support tools (e.g. JIRA, Confluence).
- German language skills would be an advantage.
