- Strong hands-on experience with Azure (Log Analytics / Azure Monitor, Sentinel, Azure Policy, Cost Management).
- Practical experience with at least one more cloud (AWS or GCP), including its logging services and pricing.
- Good understanding of logging and observability architecture and its cost drivers.
- Experience building automation with Terraform, Python, and/or Bash, plus CI/CD (GitHub Actions or Azure DevOps).
- Practical knowledge of FinOps: cost allocation, optimisation levers, cost governance.
- Experience building business cases and savings forecasts.
- Strong communication skills and confidence presenting to senior technical stakeholders.
- Experience working in a regulated enterprise environment (compliance, change control).
