Compensation Consultant
You’re a Compensation professional looking to use your experience to add value to a variety of interesting clients while maintaining a work-life balance. You have endured long hours, nonstop pressure, and residual headaches from years of in-house work and you are ready for your career to look and feel differently but aren’t sure if that opportunity really exists.
You love data, not just working in a spreadsheet, but what the numbers say. Your natural communication approach is one that effectively and respectfully builds a sense of competence with clients. You are a strategic thinker and a proactive problem solver.
You enjoy analyzing data and developing compensation structures, including job matching, benchmarking, data manipulation, pay range design, cost modeling, and internal equity reviews. You can clearly and professionally present your findings, translating complex analysis into practical insights for business leaders. You understand that data informs decisions, but how an organization applies it makes the difference. You recognize the importance of a compensation philosophy and can bring differing perspectives together to find common ground. Because one size does not fit all, you are open to exploring how compensation strategies can reflect an organization’s culture and values. Your superpower is turning data into clear guidance that helps clients shape their overall compensation strategy.
When you’re considering a new job, it’s normal to have a ton of questions. Here are a few things we get asked all the time:
If I am working part-time, can I still be eligible for benefits?
YES! BPM employees who work a minimum of 30 hours a week are eligible for paid holidays, PTO, health insurance benefits, and more!
I am tired of the commute, and just too many work hours. What will my day look like?
With the exception of scheduled video meetings with clients, you get to work in the comfort of your own home! Travel is rare and your personal priorities are respected. Plus, you choose how many hours you work, how many clients you support, and both can fluctuate!
