As Data Controller, you make sure the product data that flows through our commerce and supply chain is correct, complete and on time. This role is for someone who takes ownership of data quality, gets to the root cause of problems, and brings the business along. Your Role As Data Controller, you are the end-to-end guardian of product data quality. You oversee product data across the entire value chain, from commercial agreements and product setup through supply chain execution and store operations, ensuring that the data each process depends on is accurate, complete, and right the first time. You are not just checking data. You define which data is critical, set up quality controls and monitoring together with the business, and run our data quality management (DQM) process. When issues come in, you look for the pattern, find the root cause and make sure the process changes, so the problem does not come back. You are the bridge between the business and IT. The business owns the data; you make sure ownership, rules and definitions are clear and followed. You do this through influence, not authority, as a trusted advisor for buying, commerce, supply chain, IT and related data teams. We will get more work, but not more people, so we count on you to find smarter ways of monitoring, including automation and AI.
