Amazon

New

EU QC In-stock specialist

Posted Updated
Discussion
Amazon Quick Commerce (QC) delivers groceries and everyday essentials to customers in minutes from a network of local stores. To keep that promise, the right products have to be on our shelves at the right time. A large part of our range is supplied from Amazon's core fulfilment network into each QC store.

We are looking for a core in-stock specialist to own that flow every day. You will make sure the core selection is transferred in the right quantity, at the right time and to the right store, so customers find what they are looking for. You will manage day-to-day operations with the fulfilment centres, transport and store teams. You will be the first person to see a gap in availability and the person who closes it.

This is an operational role in a young and fast-growing network. Processes are still being built and volumes change quickly, especially around Peak and promotional events. You will need to act fast on data, raise issues early and keep stakeholders aligned. You will also help shape the mechanisms we use as we scale.

The applicable collective agreement for this role is CBA for employees of Logistics, Delivery and Shipping Sector. The position is classified at level 2 or above, depending on the candidate's skills, competences and experience.

Key job responsibilities
- Own the in-stock of the core selection across QC stores, tracking core VBI and store availability against target and acting on gaps every day.
- Plan and execute manual transfers from the core fulfilment centres to QC stores, setting quantities from demand forecasts, safety stock and store capacity.
- Schedule and manage CPTs with fulfilment centre and transport teams so transfers leave on time and arrive in line with store receiving windows.
- Run daily operations end to end: check transfer status, find stuck or short shipments, and fix issues with fulfilment centres, middle mile and store teams.
- Find the root causes of out-of-stocks, such as upstream availability, stock reserved for other channels, missed CPTs or receiving delays, and drive corrective actions with the owning teams.
- Review safety stock levels and resize deal and promotional ASINs per store based on forecast and sell-through, especially ahead of Peak events.
- Keep store space and capacity in mind when sending stock, so transfers do not create overstock or congestion in the store.
- Report weekly on in-stock, transfer performance and key issues, and escalate risks early with clear data and a proposed action.
- Contribute to new processes and tools as the network grows, for example automating manual transfers or launching direct fulfilment-centre-to-store injections.
