We are a leading pharma engineering company shaping the future of API pharma engineering globally. Leveraging the expertise of 2,000+ employees across Denmark, India, and the US, we design, build and optimise pharmaceutical manufacturing facilities that are essential to the health and well-being of patients everywhere.
Our success is driven by passion, innovation, and collaboration — with our customers and across our teams and disciplines. If you share our dedication to a noble cause and our passion for API pharma engineering, then NNE is the place for you.
About the role
We are looking for a Senior Lean Consultant to join our team of highly skilled colleagues in the Project Excellence department. In Project Excellence, we act as internal consultants grounded in Lean, supporting projects and leadership across NNE by strengthening performance management, structured problem solving and continuous improvement practices.
As a Senior Lean Consultant, you will work closely with project organisations and leaders to set direction for improvement initiatives, build Lean capabilities and drive performance. At the same time, you will take an active, hands-on role in facilitating problem solving and implementing improvements on our most critical projects, ensuring that ideas translate into real impact.
This role offers a unique opportunity to operate at the intersection of leadership, Lean transformation and project execution, contributing to building a strong and sustainable performance and improvement culture across NNE.
You’ll be based in our Virum Office, but the role requires you to visit our project sites in Kalundborg and around the Copenhagen area on a regular basis.
How you might spend your days
As a Senior Lean Consultant, you’ll be:
- Helping the Project Excellence department set direction for continuous improvement and Lean in NNE, aligned with NNE’s strategy
- Building Lean capabilities by developing and embedding structured problem solving, lean project management and continuous improvement practices
- Designing and delivering training in Lean tools, Lean principles and Lean ways of working across NNE
- Coaching leaders and teams to strengthen performance management and Lean leadership behaviours
- Facilitating and driving structured problem-solving on major projects, using A3 thinking as our core approach
- Advising on consistent implementation of improvements, ensuring solutions are anchored and deliver real impact
Who you are
We care about who you are as a person. In the end, how you work, and your energy is what impacts the results we achieve as a team. As a person, you are:
- Passionate about Lean thinking and driven to create real lasting business impact
- Confident in engaging, challenging and developing leaders and teams at all levels
- Comfortable operating in complex environments, bringing clarity, structure and direction
- Pragmatic and execution-focused with a great drive to turn ideas into results
- A credible role model who takes ownership and leads by example
What you bring to the role
In all positions, there are some things that are preferred, and others, a bonus. If you do not meet all the qualifications listed below, you are welcome to offer alternative experience that you think would be valuable in this role:
- Extensive experience driving continuous improvement and lean transformations in complex organisations
- Proven ability to lead and implement change with measurable impact
- Solid experience working closely with senior leaders on performance and improvement agendas
- A relevant academic degree at Master level
- Excellent facilitation, coaching and stakeholder management skills across organisational levels
