Field Integrations Engineer

Posted
Discussion

We are looking for a Field Integrations Engineer to integrate our radar systems into clients’ autonomous platforms, from protocols and firmware to debugging hardware right in the field.
If you are strong in embedded and you’re not afraid of live testing, complex integrations or working with clients, you will get to work with real systems, not just lab prototypes. The role is based in our Kyiv lab, with the option to move between the Kyiv and Vilnius offices later.

Main Responsibilities

  • Leading integrations of the radar platform with client systems
  • Adapting communication protocols and data structures
  • Writing and modifying firmware and drivers in C / Rust (bare-metal)
  • Writing Python scripts for data conversion
  • Debugging hardware and software on-site at the client
  • Working with PCB schematics, oscilloscopes and measurement equipment
  • Analyzing Ethernet traffic and locating points of failure
  • Taking part in field tests
  • Communicating with the client’s engineers and management
  • Passing integration findings to the internal engineering team

Mandatory Requirements

  • Hands-on experience integrating hardware and software systems in the field
  • Strong C for embedded; experience with Rust
  • Experience with bare-metal firmware and drivers
  • Python for scripting and automation
  • Ability to read electrical schematics and work with an oscilloscope
  • Experience debugging network communication (Ethernet, packet analysis)
  • High emotional intelligence and the ability to work with clients under pressure
  • Readiness for frequent travel and on-site work

Nice to have

  • Experience with radar or sensor systems
  • Background as a Field Application Engineer (FAE) or Integration Engineer
  • Knowledge of CAN, UART, SPI, I2C
  • Experience in defense tech, UAV, aerospace, automotive or robotics
  • Real cases of deploying hardware and software in the field

We offer

  • Hands-on work with real hardware in the field, not just behind a screen
  • Top-of-market salary
  • Founding equity
  • Relocation bonus, company housing and daily allowance
  • Full logistics coverage
  • Work in our Kyiv lab, with the option to work between Kyiv and Vilnius later
  • A fast-moving team without unnecessary bureaucracy
  • Your work will operate in real-world conditions
