Compensation: $14k – $36k • 0.25% – 0.5%

Sell a product that helps service businesses turn more calls into customer conversations—and help shape how we sell it.

Atomic Apps AI is hiring a hands-on Founding Account Executive to work directly with founder Julius Kelly. This is a part-time individual-contributor role for someone who enjoys prospecting, closing business, and turning customer feedback into a clearer sales process.

What you'll sell AIRIN is an AI front office for service businesses. It answers calls, qualifies leads, books appointments, routes calls, follows up, and can send a secure payment link during a call. Small businesses can start on our public plans; larger and multi-location organizations have a consultative Custom engagement.

Why this opportunity

  • Direct access to the founder, with a voice in sales messaging, customer targeting, and the playbook we build together.
  • Part-time remote work with an agreed schedule and clear accountability.
  • Hourly pay, uncapped commission, and the opportunity to earn performance-based phantom equity.
  • The chance to see your customer insights influence how an early-stage company sells and positions its product.

What you'll own

  • Prospect and follow up through focused cold calling, email, referrals, and inbound opportunities as available.
  • Run discovery, tailored demos, objection handling, and closing for service-business customers.
  • Start with an agreed customer segment and a small number of outreach approaches, rather than trying every channel at once.
  • Keep CRM records accurate: lead source, customer needs, stage, next action, and reasons for wins or losses.
  • Test messaging and follow-up approaches with the founder; document what worked, what did not, and what still needs validation.
  • Help develop larger or multi-location opportunities with founder involvement as they arise.

How we'll work together You will have room to use your judgment and bring ideas. The founder will stay involved in targeting, product positioning, pricing, and complex deals. This is an early sales motion: there is no finished playbook or promise of a ready-made pipeline. We will prioritize together and keep the initial process simple enough to improve as we learn.

What success looks like in the first 90 days

  • A focused prospecting and follow-up routine that fits the agreed weekly hours.
  • Qualified customer conversations, a well-maintained pipeline, and progress toward collected new-account revenue.
  • Clear evidence about customer needs, objections, and which messages and channels show promise.
  • A practical first playbook covering discovery, demos, follow-up, and pipeline stages.

Specific activity, revenue, and phantom-equity milestones will be agreed in advance. We value accurate reporting and customer fit alongside sales results.

What you bring

  • Experience personally prospecting and closing B2B business; SaaS, communications, AI, or service-business sales experience is especially relevant.
  • Examples of creating opportunities with limited support, not only working an established inbound pipeline.
  • Confidence speaking with owner-operators, asking good discovery questions, and explaining technology in business terms.
  • Consistent follow-through, organized CRM habits, and a willingness to review calls and improve together.
  • Comfort with early-stage uncertainty and testing assumptions before turning them into a process.

Schedule, pay, and equity opportunity

  • Part-time employee position: 15–25 hours per week, W-2, non-exempt. This is not a full-time role; Wellfound's employee category may display it as Full Time.
  • Remote; California initially, with other U.S. states considered.
  • Flexible scheduling within the agreed weekly hours, with customer calls and collaboration coordinated in Pacific Time. The listed 8 a.m.–7 p.m. Pacific window is a scheduling window, not a requirement to be available throughout it.
  • $18–$28 per hour plus uncapped commission, up to 20% of collected new-account revenue under the commission plan. The headline annual pay range represents approximate hourly base pay at 15–25 hours per week over 52 weeks; commission is additional. It is not a full-time salary or an earnings guarantee.
  • Opportunity to earn equity-equivalent compensation (phantom equity), conditional on meeting agreed 90-day performance milestones and a written agreement. The displayed 0.25%–0.5% equity range refers to this conditional phantom-equity opportunity, not an upfront grant of company shares.
  • Full commission and phantom-equity terms are covered openly in the interview.

You will work directly with Julius Kelly, a software engineer and AWS architect with 20+ years of experience, including Google and Amazon.

How to apply Apply on Wellfound with a short note describing what you have sold, who bought it, and one opportunity you personally sourced and closed. Please include your weekly availability. Shortlisted candidates will be asked for a brief deal example and a short voice introduction.
