Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer

We are seeking a skilled Google Cloud Technical Lead/Lead Engineer to join our team and contribute to infrastructure and CI/CD development for Next-Gen Data Management. In this role, you will focus on GCP infrastructure development, building a Data Platform on GCP, and driving product development initiatives.

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain highly available production systems
• Integrate solutions with other applications and platforms outside the framework
• Design and implement build, deployment, and configuration management systems
• Analyze, organize, and provide in-depth code reviews to improve applications dynamically and ensure the timely completion of projects
• Perform script updates due to changes in requirements or implementations
• Troubleshoot production issues and coordinate with the development team to streamline code deployment
• Optimize system performance, availability and scalability
• Collaborate with team members to improve developed tools, systems and procedures, and data security
• Brainstorm new ideas and ways to improve development delivery
• Write the project documentation and conduct knowledge transfers

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience in cloud infrastructure engineering or a related field
• At least 1 year of relevant leadership experience
• Expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP)
• Proficiency in Terraform for infrastructure as code
• Background in designing and maintaining highly available production systems
• Skills in building CI/CD pipelines, deployment, and configuration management systems
• Competency in troubleshooting production issues and optimizing system performance, availability, and scalability
• Understanding of integrating solutions across multiple applications and platforms
• Capability to perform in-depth code reviews and mentor team members
• Familiarity with writing technical documentation and conducting knowledge transfer sessions
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English (B2+ level)
