HR Services Specialist

We are looking for an HR Services Specialist to support our client’s employees throughout the entire employee lifecycle, from pre-hire to retirement. This is a 9‑month contract role covering a temporary leave, with a hybrid work model requiring presence in the Gdańsk office three days per week.

As an HR Services Specialist, you will serve as the first point of contact for employees and managers, providing guidance and support across a wide range of HR processes and services. You will partner closely with HR teams and business leaders, coordinate transactional and administrative HR activities, and help ensure a seamless employee experience. The role also involves supporting HR initiatives and projects, monitoring compliance with local labor laws and HR policies, managing supplier relationships, and identifying opportunities to improve processes through data and insights. We are looking for a proactive professional who thrives in a dynamic international environment, demonstrates a strong customer-service mindset, and can effectively prioritize work while collaborating with stakeholders across different locations and time zones.

Core skills you’ll bring

• Minimum of three years HR service delivery experience with Ukraine
• In depth knowledge of Ukrainian labor law and local country regulations
• Experience using government portals
• Strong written and oral communication skills, in Ukrainian and English
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks concurrently
• Proficiency in Microsoft 365, including Teams, Excel, PowerPoint, and Word
• Team-oriented, adaptable and solution-focused
• Do the right thing, give a damn and show up with kindness, collaboration and respect

Nice-to-have

• Bachelor’s degree or recognized qualification or relative years’ experience in Human Resources
• Experience using Workday and/or ServiceNow is an advantage
