Discussion
The Salesforce Tester will support the reliable delivery of Forterro’s Salesforce platform, with a particular focus on Salesforce CRM and CPQ. Working within Enterprise IT Applications, the role will translate business and technical requirements into structured test scenarios and provide clear evidence that new capabilities, enhancements and fixes are ready for release.

This is a mid-level, hands-on quality assurance role for a tester with at least two years of experience testing Salesforce software development. The successful candidate will combine strong functional testing skills with a practical understanding of CRM and quote-to-cash processes, including product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals and downstream integrations.

The role will work closely with product owners, business analysts, Salesforce administrators and developers, integration specialists and business subject-matter experts. The Salesforce Tester will contribute to a shift-left quality culture, strengthen regression coverage and help ensure that configuration-driven behaviour remains consistent across a complex, multi-business Salesforce environment.
  • Plan and execute functional, system, integration, regression and exploratory testing across Salesforce CRM and CPQ.
  • Translate user stories, acceptance criteria and business requirements into clear test scenarios, test cases and test data.
  • Test key CRM and CPQ processes, including leads, accounts, opportunities, product configuration, pricing, quoting, approvals, renewals and amendments.
  • Validate Salesforce integrations, APIs, data flows, security, permissions and business-specific configurations.
  • Identify, document and track defects, working closely with Salesforce administrators and developers to verify fixes and manage quality risks.
  • Maintain effective regression coverage and support end-to-end testing, user acceptance testing and release validation.
  • Contribute to test automation and continuous improvement of testing standards, processes and quality practices.
