Java with ETL and Seeburger

We expect the individual to participate in all parts of the development life cycle including analysis, testing and production support. We do not have separate teams, and these activities are all part of the role.
- 6+ years’ experience in software development across both Waterfall and Agile delivery environments. Strong back-end development experience, including system integration and/or migration.
- Front-end development experience is a plus.
- Knowledge on DevOps, Disciplined Agile Delivery (DAD), Agile control Framework.
- Strong working experience with Java, Spring Framework, and RESTful APIs. Exposure to Spring Cloud and/or MuleSoft is a plus.
- Development experience on Seeburger BIS, EDI etc. is a plus.
- Experience with databases (e.g., Oracle, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
- Experience implementing and maintaining CI/CD pipelines and development automation.
- Familiarity with engineering and delivery tools such as Confluence, Jira, Jenkins, Ansible, Git/GitHub, SonarQube (or equivalent).
- Exposure to Kafka, RabbitMQ, Redis, and containerisation (Docker) is a plus.
- Familiar with test automation frameworks such as Junit.
- Experience with production support, incident management, and improving service reliability is a plus.
- Demonstrated ability to mentor others, share knowledge, and raise engineering standards through example.
- Forward-thinking and able to make sound technical decisions aligned to strategy, with a strong sense of accountability for outcomes and quality.
