Junior Backend Developer
Summary
Junior Backend Developer working with experienced team to build technology for global brands, using Node.js/Python, Git, unit tests, with exposure to AI/ML and cloud services (AWS, PostgreSQL, Jenkins).
This is a remote position.
Job Title: Junior Backend Developer
Location:Southampton HQ (Part Remote)
Salary:£21,000 - £30,000
This position will see you working with a team of experienced developers, to help global brands improve their customer experiences through technology.
Opportunity to gain exposure to and work with AI/Machine Learning.
Technical Experience:
Experience with consuming third party API & or data sources
Familiarity with:
- Node.js or Python
- Unit tests
- Git
Desirable Technical Experience:
Experience with code reviews / peer reviews
Experience of deploying products in a live environment
Exposure to or familiarity with:
- AWS Cloud Services
- Eslint
- Jest / Mocha
- Rollbar
- PostgreSQL
- Jenkins or similar build tool
