The Role
We're looking for a Medical Advisor to provide physician-level oversight across our clinical operations. This is a consulting relationship, not a full-time position, built around periodic availability rather than a fixed schedule. As we expand into skilled and licensed clinical services, this role provides the physician-level guidance our accreditation standards require behind that growth.
What You'll Do
- Serve as the Agency's Medical Advisor for clinical oversight and physician-level consultation.
- Participate in Ethics Committee matters when clinical or patient care questions require physician input.
- Support verification and review of referring physician credentials and orders as needed.
- Provide guidance on plan of care questions when clinical staff or the Director of Nursing need physician-level input.
- Be available for periodic consultation, not day-to-day clinical management.
What You Bring
- Active, unrestricted physician license (MD or DO).
- Experience with home health, private duty, or a comparable care setting is a strong plus.
- Comfort operating in an advisory capacity rather than a full-time clinical role.
- Responsiveness and reachability for periodic consultation, even with limited hours.
