- We are the AI Experience Framework (AIUX) team that powers ServiceNow’s AI-first user interfaces. Using modern Lit-based web components, AIUX builds modular, reusable conversational experiences that serve as the technical foundation for conversation-first applications like Employee Slate. This role owns full-stack architectural decisions in a modern JavaScript/component-driven environment, working across AI integration, performance scale, and multi-team coordination
- Own code from design, implementation, test automation, and delivery of high-quality product to our users
- Work with product owners to understand detailed requirements and drive the full development lifecycle
- Build software that is simple to use, allowing customers to extend and customize functionality to meet their specific needs
- Contribute to the design and implementation of new products and features while enhancing the existing product suite
- Mentor colleagues and promote knowledge-sharing across teams
- Apply advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, OO design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
- Architect modular, reusable component systems for scalability and extensibility

- Advanced experience with modern UI frameworks: Angular, React, Vue, or Lit
- Advanced knowledge and experience with relational databases: development, troubleshooting, and performance optimization
- Passion for JavaScript and the Web as a platform, reusability, and componentization
- Experience in leveraging or critically thinking about how to integrate AI into work processes, decision-making, or problem-solving (may include using AI-powered tools, automating workflows, analyzing AI-driven insights, or exploring AI’s potential impact on the industry)
- Demonstrated capability to manage multiple projects with material technical risk across teams and processes
- 3+ years of experience with Java or similar OO language (C++, C#, Go equivalent acceptable)
- Advanced knowledge of data structures, algorithms, object-oriented design, design patterns, and performance/scale considerations
