- Build scalable systems and backend components, balancing stability, performance, and maintainability
- Design, implement, test, and deploy production-ready features with high correctness and low-latency requirements
- Partner with frontend and data teams to refine APIs used by millions of customers
- Mentor junior developers and technically lead complex projects across teams
- Identify and implement improvements for system performance and team workflows
- Proficiency in highly concurrent backend system development and intuitive API design
- 5+ years of professional software development experience
- Demonstrated ability to deliver long-term impact on systems or team-wide architecture
- Strong judgment and prioritization skills, with the ability to lead initiatives and mentor peers
- 3+ years designing and building large-scale, distributed, low-latency systems
