We are seeking an experienced R&D Software Developer focused on C++ application development for performance-critical systems to join our technology organization. In this role, you will develop, high-performance, and secure software systems built with modern C++ (C++17/20), with a strong focus on real-time behavior, reliability, and long product lifecycle support.
- 8+ years of experience in senior technical roles.
- Advanced proficiency in modern C++ (C++17/20) with deep understanding of RAII, smart pointers, STL, concurrency, and memory management.
- Practical knowledge of C# development in plus.
- Strong experience with multithreading, synchronization primitives, asynchronous I/O and real-time system design.
- Proficiency with building systems (CMake, Visual Studio) and cross-platform development for Windows and Linux.
- Experience with containerization technologies (Docker, Kubernetes) and microservices architecture patterns.
- Good understanding of unit and integration testing techniques and testing frameworks.
- Practical experience developing systems monitoring having familiarity with WAMS/WAMPAC, PMU data, and protection and control applications.
- Practical experience working directly with power grid industry clients and exposure to system integration, simulators, or lab environments.
- Good understanding of power system dynamics and the stability challenges introduced by high penetration of renewables
- Excellent command of English.
