- We’re looking for engineers who take ownership end-to-end, think about the problems they’re solving for customers, and want to help shape the way the built world transacts
- AI fluency — you direct tools like Claude Code or Cursor effectively: describe the problem clearly, generate code and tests, evaluate output critically, and iterate until it’s right
- Strong code review habits — you evaluate AI-generated code by the same standard as hand-written code, catching bugs, edge cases, security gaps, and performance issues before they ship
- Product sense — you think about the user and the business, not just the implementation, and understand how your work connects to customer outcomes
- Independence — you take ownership end-to-end, navigate ambiguity, and deliver without being managed step-by-step
- CS fundamentals — solid grasp of data structures, system design, and the ability to reason about performance, reliability, and data integrity tradeoffs
- Mentorship orientation — you give feedback that builds judgment in others, not just fixes the immediate issue
- Clear communication — written and verbal, you can articulate technical tradeoffs to engineers and non-technical partners alike
