Senior Java Developer (Microservices, AI, Cloud)

We are looking for a Senior Java Developer with AI experience to create secure, maintainable backend systems in a quality-first engineering culture. You will develop Spring Boot microservices with Java Core and Java 8, integrate REST and SQL data layers, and support CI/CD and Unit Testing across Microsoft Azure and Amazon Web Services.

Responsibilities

• Architect and deliver scalable, resilient systems that align with business goals and engineering expectations
• Engage in architecture discussions and offer recommendations that shape project outcomes
• Work closely with cross-discipline teams to meet delivery timelines and quality targets
• Perform code reviews and give constructive guidance to uphold engineering best practices
• Investigate and solve complex technical challenges across different development stages
• Guide junior developers through mentorship and practical knowledge sharing
• Contribute to project planning by helping define scope and estimate timelines accurately
• Stay informed on emerging technologies and incorporate valuable methods into the team’s work
• Create and maintain documentation for key technical decisions and solution designs
• Align with business stakeholders on objectives and validate that outputs meet agreed commitments

Requirements

• 3 years of relevant professional experience in a similar technical role
• Applied experience using AI tools and foundational concepts to strengthen solution engineering
• Strong knowledge of Java Core with proven object-oriented programming capability
• Hands-on exposure to Java 8 features within development projects
• Practical experience building backend infrastructure using Spring Boot
• Background working with Microsoft Azure cloud systems
• Knowledge of Amazon Web Services for deploying and running cloud workloads
• Understanding of CI/CD concepts used for automated, reliable releases
• Ability to use SQL effectively in relational database contexts
• Demonstrated experience delivering systems using Microservice Architecture standards
• Experience developing and consuming REST API integrations
• Solid understanding of Unit Testing to maintain code quality
• Familiarity with NoSQL database technologies compatible with Java stacks
• English proficiency at B2 (Upper-Intermediate) or higher with effective communication
