Senior Software Engineer (Payments)

- Lead efforts to reconcile transactions across multiple financial providers, including Stripe, Highnote, Checkbook, and JPMorgan, ensuring accuracy and consistency across systems
- Ensure full alignment between internal records and customer-facing balances—what’s in the bank should precisely match what the customer sees
- Contribute to the development and ongoing scalability of our general ledger infrastructure, supporting accuracy, resilience, and growth
- Partner with our external ledger provider, Fragment, to build a reliable system capable of powering billions of transactions with speed and integrity
- Design and implement new money movement flows across a variety of payment rails—including push-to-card and wire transfers—optimizing for cost, speed, and reliability
- Own critical backend & platform projects end-to-end—from design to production ops
- Push architecture that scales to billions in annual payment volume and real-time risk controls
- Work closely with product and GTM leads to turn ambiguous problems into elegant code
