At GTT, our Service Assurance Team manages and maintains GTT's international network, delivering exceptional support to customers worldwide. As a Service Assurance Technician, you will be responsible for troubleshooting network issues, managing incidents through resolution, and ensuring a stable, resilient, and high-performing network environment.
What You'll Be Doing
- Provide break/fix support across GTT's global network.
- Own and drive incidents through to successful resolution.
- Perform technical validation, troubleshooting, and escalation management.
- Work closely with customers, vendors, and internal teams to resolve service issues.
- Configure network devices and support service migrations.
- Proactively identify recurring issues and drive preventative actions.
- Maintain accurate documentation and customer communications.
- Ensure operational procedures and best practices are followed.
What We're Looking For
Essential
- 2+ years of experience in a Telco, Service Provider, or similar environment.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-diagnosis skills.
- Good understanding of BGP, OSPF, ISIS, and EIGRP.
- Experience with Layer 2 technologies, including VLANs, STP, and LACP.
- Knowledge of MPLS, L2VPN, and L3VPN services.
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Nice to Have
- Cisco IOS and hardware experience.
- Juniper JUNOS experience.
- Certifications such as CCNA, JNCNA, Fortinet FCA, or Palo Alto PCNSA/PCCSA.
- Experience with SD-WAN, Security, and SASE technologies.
- Experience in a NOC or Service Operations environment.
