- We are looking for a Software Engineer (Cloud Infrastructure and Observability) to join Nuro’s growing Infrastructure team
- Collaborate and work cross-functionally amongst teams are Nuro to align on customer needs
- Build high-quality and scalable solutions for infrastructure-as-code, application deployment to Kubernetes clusters
- Build automation to improve developer experience, infrastructure reliability, and security
- Create observability solutions to monitor production systems, track health status, and improve system performance

- You are experienced with building, scaling, and maintaining production systems
- You possess a bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a closely related field or 3+ years of equivalent experience
- You have excellent communication skills
- You have start-up DNA: You have demonstrated an ability to thrive in the ambiguity of a dynamic, start-up environment or have the DNA to do so
- You are experienced with observability tools
- You have software development skills, preferably in Python or Go
- You are experienced with Terraform, Docker, and Kubernetes
- You are experienced with developing in a public cloud environment
- You have software architecture experience
- You have cloud/hybrid networking experience
- You have experience designing and building observability systems
- You have experience in deploying and managing large distributed applications (e.g. with Kubernetes and ArgoCD)
