Software Engineering Intern (Summer 2027)

• We’re continuing to invest heavily in building the best creator platform with the best team in the creator economy and are looking for Software Engineering Interns to support our mission
• This role is based in San Francisco or New York and open to those who are able to be in-office 3 days per week on a hybrid work model
• Our summer internship is a 12-week program running May–August or June–September 2027. This internship is designed for students graduating between December 2027 and June 2028
• Make an impact. You’ll build and ship a feature that directly supports the creator economy and helps your favorite creators turn their passions into sustainable careers
• Collaborate with the best. You’ll be embedded within a world-class engineering team, working closely with engineers, product managers, designers, and data scientists to bring your project to life
• Learn and grow. With guidance from an experienced engineer mentor, you’ll tackle technical challenges, gain hands-on experience, and grow your skills throughout the internship
• Have fun! Beyond building great products, you’ll participate in team activities and events

• Genuine passion for Patreon’s mission and supporting the creator economy
• Strong foundation in Computer Science fundamentals and data structures
• Proficiency in one or more programming languages such as Python, Swift, Kotlin, or TypeScript
• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field (i.e. Mathematics, Physics)
• Eagerness to learn, adapt, and grow through feedback
