- As a Staff Back-End Engineer, you will be tasked with building backend infrastructure for our AI security product, focused on monitoring AI assets, assessing risks, and delivering actionable insights
- You will work in a fast-paced, innovative environment that requires agility, adaptability, and continuous iteration. Your work will also include enforcing security policies and ensuring safe, compliant AI deployment while contributing to the future of cybersecurity
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable server-side applications and APIs
- Implement and optimize database schemas, queries, and data storage solutions
- Collaborate with frontend developers to integrate user-facing elements with server-side logic
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to architectural decisions
- Troubleshoot, debug, and upgrade existing systems
- Implement security and data protection measures
- Work with cloud services (e.g. AWS, Azure, or GCP) to deploy and manage backend services
- Contribute to the development of microservices architecture
- Stay updated with emerging backend technologies and industry best practices

- Experience designing and implementing microservices
- Strong problem-solving skills
- Experience developing and integrating APIs, including designing and building RESTful APIs; familiarity with GraphQL is a plus
- Experience with scalability and performance optimization, including caching strategies, message queues, and large-scale, distributed architectures
- Experience with database management
- Experience implementing authentication, authorization, and data protection mechanisms
- Communication and collaboration skills
- 8+ years of backend development experience in Node.js and TypeScript
