Emergency Veterinarian

What you’ll do
- Provide emergency and urgent medical/surgical care for small animal patients.
- Triage and stabilize critical patients; perform emergency surgeries and diagnostics.
- Communicate clearly and compassionately with clients about status, prognosis, and treatment options.
- Work collaboratively with technicians and support staff; mentor colleagues as needed.
- Maintain accurate medical records and follow hospital protocols and standards.
- DVM/VMD from an accredited veterinary school.
- Current NC veterinary license (or ability to obtain licensure).
- Emergency medicine experience preferred; motivated new graduates with emergency skillset considered.
- Strong procedural skills (intubation, venipuncture, urinary catheterization, basic emergency surgery).
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and client-service orientation.
- Ability to work variable shifts including nights and weekends.
