- 5+ years of professional software development experience with Python and/or Java
- Hands-on experience in developing and maintaining backend applications and REST APIs
- Familiarity with Spring Boot and standard Java development practices (for Java developers), or modular application design and dependency management (for Python developers)
- Practical experience in writing and maintaining automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability
- Good understanding of secure software development principles, including input validation, authentication, authorization, and secure handling of sensitive data
- Proficiency with Git and familiarity with collaborative development practices, including code reviews
- Ability to analyze existing codebases, troubleshoot technical issues, and implement maintainable, well-documented solutions
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with technical stakeholders
- Good command of written and spoken English for technical communication and documentation
Nice to have:
- Experience working with both Python and Java / Spring Boot
- Experience integrating LLM APIs or developing AI-assisted workflows, including structured output validation and error handling
- Familiarity with application security testing methodologies, particularly DAST and SAST
- Experience with security testing tools such as OWASP ZAP, Nuclei, or Semgrep
- Experience with document processing and data extraction, particularly from PDF files
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines, Docker, or cloud-based environments
- Knowledge of web technologies such as JavaScript, HTML, CSS, or Thymeleaf
